Welcome to AMV Legacy Services (“AMV Legacy,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). AMV Legacy Services is a DBA of AMVLAW PLLC, a New York professional limited liability company. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of amvlegacy.us and all related tools, resources, and services.
Please read these Terms carefully. By using our website or purchasing any service or plan, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the website.
Nature of Services
AMV Legacy Services provides educational and administrative estate planning tools, including:
DIY will and trust creation
Guided assistance from Legacy Advisors
Optional referrals to an attorney (AMVLAW PLLC) upon request
Unless you explicitly upgrade to attorney services through AMVLAW PLLC:

An attorney–client relationship is formed only if:
You upgrade to an Attorney Plan,
You sign an engagement agreement with AMVLAW PLLC, and
The attorney accepts the engagement.
Eligibility
You may use this website only if you are at least 18 years old; are a U.S. resident or are creating documents for property in the United States; agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy; and, if you are helping someone else complete their plan, you confirm you have legal permission to do so.
User Accounts
If you create an account through our technology system or portal, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, ensuring all information provided is accurate, and all activity that occurs under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Not Legal Advice
The tools, prompts, documents, and educational content provided through AMV Legacy Services are for informational and self-help purposes only.
They are not a substitute for legal advice from a licensed attorney.
Examples of non-legal educational activity include:
Explaining general estate planning concepts
Providing state-specific templates
Offering administrative guidance
Showing how to use the platform
Examples of legal advice (which AMV Legacy does NOT provide):
Telling you what decisions you should make in your plan
Applying laws to your specific situation
Determining whether your documents meet legal requirements
Reviewing your specific assets and giving tailored instructions
If you need legal advice, you must contact a licensed attorney. You may upgrade to attorney services through AMVLAW PLLC at any time.
Payments and Refunds
Fees for DIY, Guided, or Attorney Plans are clearly displayed during checkout. For DIY and Guided Plans, purchases are for digital tools and administrative support. Unless required by law, all sales are final.
For Attorney Plans and all attorney services purchased through AMVLAW PLLC, services are subject to a separate Engagement Agreement, which governs payment terms, refunds, and scope of representation through the AMVLAW PLLC law firm.
Intellectual Property
All content on amvlegacy.us — including text, graphics, branding, icons, images, videos, and digital tools — is protected by copyright and trademark law.
You may not:
Copy
Distribute
Reverse-engineer
Sell
Reproduce
Modify
any part of the website or its materials without written permission.
Document templates are licensed for personal use only and may not be resold or redistributed.
Third-Party Services
AMV Legacy uses trusted third-party service providers, including: our technology partner (providing document generation technology, secure portal, and data storage services), Typeform (forms and questionnaires), Hostinger (website hosting and email communications), and Google Analytics (usage analytics).
By using our services, you also agree to any applicable terms of these third-party platforms.
We are not responsible for:
Their uptime
Their errors
Their data policies
Interruptions or delays caused by them
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided “as is” and “as available” for educational and personal use only. We do not guarantee that documents will meet your specific legal needs, that your plan will achieve a particular legal outcome, or that the website will operate without error or interruption.
We do our best to keep everything secure, accurate, and up-to-date, but we cannot make absolute guarantees.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law AMV Legacy Services, AMVLAW PLLC, our owners, employees, contractors, and advisors, shall not be liable for any damages arising from:

Unauthorized access to your information
Decisions you make during the estate planning process
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the site or services is to discontinue use.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AMV Legacy Services, AMVLAW PLLC, and all associated parties from any claims arising out of your use of the website, your creation or use of estate-planning documents, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party rights.

We may update or discontinue portions of our services at any time. Your continued use of the website signifies acceptance of any updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflicts of law principles. If any dispute arises, it shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.
